Surprised there is a all in one yoga mat!!

Ok i have tried a lot of yoga mats, rugs, mats + various towels. i love this one the best. no slipping and no akward bunching. can't lift your legs as high and sometimes drag your feet or hands? no worries, it's not going to separate or bunch up or slide! all one piece. slightly thinner feeling than a typical 5 mm. however my knees are very sensitive and well no issues for me in my 1hr and 15 min hot yoga class. one class and i'm sold! now let's see how it holds up!

The perfect hot yoga mat

I have been using this yoga mat for as long as i have been practicing hot yoga, (a long time)! i still don’t know why it is not a more popular mat. every time i am in a hot yoga class somebody asks me about this mat, (because it is very unique). i love it because it is a “two in one” mat and truly functions as both a yoga mat and a towel with very little sacrifice. if you prefer a really thick and cushy mat, i would recommend putting this mat on top of another, but otherwise at 5mm, i am pleased with its “all in one” capacity. the towel and mat are stitched and stuck together and in all of my years of use - heat, humidity, washing, indoor/outdoor - it has not broken down. the stitching is 100% in tact. the quality of the mat is the same as when i bought it and it is the most user friendly “towel” situation because the “towel” cannot move - the mat and towel are one unit. it is also, (once it has some water on it), one of the “grippier” towels i have used. i also use this mat in a non hot yoga setting and am equally pleased. i just add a little water to the front and back of my mat and it is grippy. i like the fact that it comes in a long length and that it is machine washable. you have to wash it alone since it is bulky - you are washing a mat and towel in one - and hang dry it, but i don’t do this after every single class. it dries quickly and remains odorless. this is still my favorite yoga mat - hands down - for hot yoga! erin - five parks yoga

Hot yoga friendly

This mat is really perfect if you sweat a lot. i've had it for about 6 months now and it's held up quite well thus far. it is most definitely meant for sweating because if you are not sweating its just slippery fabric. it helps if you spray a little bit of water where you would place your feet and hands at the beginning of your practice and then after just normal perspiration will keep the grip. it is thin but surprisingly cushy, it feels quite nice on the knee joints especially. you do want to let it air out after each use because it will get musty quick if you skip this step. i've been spraying it with tea tree oil and water and then letting it dry overnight and it stays fresh. it is machine washable (as long as there is no agitator) and you certainly don't want to machine dry it. i've successfully washed it a few times and it comes out great, it hasn't cracked, ripped, no threads have come undone. very well made, quality mat.
