Lonestar Homecoming (Lonestar Series)

Wonderful christian romantic fiction

Lonestar homecoming was a great modern day romance. the characters were down to earth and very likable. they all came with a little baggage. when hope and michael started to fall in love, they quickly realized that their baggage would just follow along. with all the bumps in the road, and some unexpected visitors, they discovered that leaving casting aside their fears and completely trusting in god to protect and provide is the only way to live. i enjoyed the texas scene in this book. i've never been there, but coble pasted a great picture of what it is like within her story. as a mother i enjoyed the story line with gracie and her daughter. in the midst of everything that was happening, caring for her daughter was always her number one concern.

Another awesome book in this great series!

Colleen is one of my very favorite authors and this series is probably going to go down as my favorite series of hers. although i have loved all of her books. she is a master at romantic suspense and i think she could write anything and make it wonderful. the writing is masterful and the storyline will grab you from the very start and keep you turning pages late into the night. you will not want to put it down until the end! and, the characters are amazing. we get to visit some familiar characters from the first two books, which is always fun. and the new characters in this story will steal your heart. i highly recommend this book and the whole series to anyone! this book has everything. there's action, adventure, suspense, romance, and a wonderful message. a complimentary copy was provided for an honest review.

Lonestar homecoming by colleen coble

Lonestar homecoming by colleen coble is the third book in a series, but they are not all connected so you can read them separately and still know what is going on in each. this book is about gracie lister and her five year old daughter hope. gracie is always running from her problems but they eventually always catch up to her. she must run from her fiance and meets michael wayne at the train station in a wedding dress and no money! michael takes her home as his nanny for his two children. they soon fall in love but not without many obstacles to overcome! at first when i saw this book and its description, i thought it was a historical fiction book. however, it is not historical, but is set in present time. it is a good book though! it kept my attention throughout the whole book as gracie went from one challenge in her life to the next and found god again along the way! the mother-daughter relationship and the risks she would take for her daughter hit home to me as a mother. it was a book i could not (and did not want to) put down! i definitely recommend it to others who love a good romance, adventure, and christian story! disclosure of material connection: i received this book free from thomas nelson publishers as part of their [...] book review bloggers program. i was not required to write a positive review. the opinions i have expressed are my own. i am disclosing this in accordance with the federal trade commission's 16 cfr, part 255 : "guides concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising."
