Most comprehensive and useful book...and fits right in your white coat!

This book is hands down the most useful book i've found as a pocket guide. it provides information about all the various disciplines that a physiatrist (pm&r doctor) will encounter in his daily practice. this includes the roles and information about physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and rehabilitation nurses. it also has chapters on the disciplines with pm&r including pain management, stroke rehabilitation, and wheelchair/orthotic prescribing. i am just starting my fourth year of med school and i am definitely glad i found this book. it gives a quick and thorough rundown of all major areas in physiatry and will definitely be useful in residency. additionally there is an appendix in the back with the nih stroke scale, emg diagrams, and other useful charts and diagrams. it is the perfect size and is well put together. i highly recommend this book for physiatrists in training on the go.
